1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the ClearSight AI mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ClearSight AI is an assistive utility that uses camera input and Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini API) to provide text-to-speech descriptions of the user's environment. It is designed to assist users with intellectual or visual disabilities but is not a replacement for human supervision or professional tools.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

You expressly acknowledge that the results provided by the App are generated by an AI system. The App may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. The developers of ClearSight AI are not liable for any actions taken, injuries, or damages resulting from reliance on the information provided by the App.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose. You agree not to use the App to capture sensitive private information of others without their consent.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClearSight AI and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Images: When you use the "Capture" feature, the image is temporarily processed to generate the description.
Device Identifiers: We collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to serve advertisements and specifically to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns (installation attribution).
App Activity & Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect data on how you interact with the App (e.g., screens viewed, buttons clicked, "first open" events). This helps us understand user behavior and improve app stability.
Approximate Location: Your IP address may be used by our analytics providers to determine your general location (city/country level) for aggregate reporting.

2. How We Use Information

Service Provision: Images are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini API) for analysis. We do not permanently store your photos on our servers; they are discarded immediately after processing.
Analytics & Improvement: We use analytics data to identify bugs, optimize performance, and understand which features are most used.
Advertising & Marketing: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. We also link usage data (such as app installation and first-open events) with Google Ads to optimize our marketing and prevent fraud (bot filtering).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared with the following third-party service providers only to the extent necessary for the App's functionality and improvement:

Google Gemini API: For image processing (Transient/Ephemeral).
Google Firebase & Google Analytics: For usage analysis and crash reporting.
Google Ads & AdMob: For advertising delivery and campaign measurement.

4. Data Retention

Analytics and crash log data are retained by our service providers (Google) for a limited period to allow for historical analysis and are then automatically deleted in accordance with their data retention policies.
